This is a public service announcement for Android users suffering from the cursed “Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network” error.
I’ve encountered this issue myself (for the last 3 days, in fact)… finally resulting in me calling my provider (O2 UK) literally 10 minutes ago to concede defeat (assuming that it must be a faulty SIM card).
Across the vastness of Google search results, I’ve seen many claims of magic fixes, some even suggesting you buy an app to fix it… and I’ve concluded that (for the most part, anyway) they’re all complete nonsense. Yes, it is possible that toggling Airplane Mode a few times might restore your network reception, but if your problem is as persistent as mine… it won’t.
So, what do you do? Well… ladies and gentlemen… the solution far simpler than you likely thought….
Take the battery out of your phone for 10-15 minutes then put it back in and switch on… your phone should pick up the network pretty-much immediately (assuming you’re in the coverage area, anyway)
There… save yourself some time and trouble… just pull the battery, make a cup of coffee (and drink it), put the battery back in and enjoy.
This worked perfectly on my HTC Desire S, but is one of the most rudimentary troubleshooting procedures you should always try when encountering such pervasive problems.
Enjoy your wonderful Android device, I know I am!
August 22, 2011 at 11:49 am
I strongly do not think this is a solution (restarting you phone with/ without battery out) is useful when this continuesly happen like 10 times a day…
August 22, 2011 at 5:27 pm
If it’s a regular persistent problem, then that’s beyond the purview of this solution (in other words, it’s a different issue entirely)
Personally I’ve experienced this particular problem only once, and the solution detailed here worked where everything else I tried (and trust me, I tried everything including a factory reset) failed.
If you’re suffering this issue regularly then there are two potential causes:
1) You’re on the edge of two “networks” on the same carrier, where the signal ratio of the two is intermittent to the point where the GSM keeps switching from one to the other (this makes phones go nuts)
2) Your phone has a fault (most likely with either the GSM radio or the SIM card (or slot)

Yay! You fixed my HTC Desire HD!, you win an internet Simon!
September 4, 2011 at 11:40 am
Glad it was useful to someone other than myself!
September 8, 2011 at 4:20 pm
Thank you so much for this. Had this error on one of my phones for over a month now. Tried everything with no luck. I had never thought the solution would be this simple.
Thanks again
September 8, 2011 at 4:54 pm
Glad it helped! Sometimes the best solutions often are the simplest!
September 26, 2011 at 3:58 am
I have the same issue. This is the second time am getting this issue.
First time, i did not know how it got resolved automatically. But I was sure that my mob did not have any of the issues you mentioned above.
This time I am trying your solution. I have HTC Incredible S. Have switched off. Waiting for 15 mins
September 26, 2011 at 6:21 pm
Any luck?
December 6, 2011 at 4:18 am
By now he’s had the thing off for over two months! Hope he knows it’s safe to turn it back on…
I’m doing mine now (MyTouch 4G Slide on AT&T), and I’ll let you know if this works!
December 6, 2011 at 4:45 am
No go here, but to be fair, I’m using old SIM cards that I don’t know for certain are active, and are of a different carrier than my phone. That last point may not matter since it’s unlocked, but the first one probably is the problem!
Thank you for your post; seeing everyone else that *has* had success pretty much lets me know my problem is a totally different one.
December 6, 2011 at 5:09 am
It would be worth trying a friend’s SIM in your handset just to make sure it’s the SIM cards and not your handset at fault
December 6, 2011 at 6:00 am
Agreed… Someone whose SIM card I know works on their own phone!
December 6, 2011 at 2:27 pm
Yup!
December 6, 2011 at 5:08 am
I think when he turned his phone back on it transported him across the universe, hence the lack of follow-up
October 7, 2011 at 8:29 am
Didnt helpout for me
November 1, 2011 at 7:12 pm

5. worked !!!! ..now turning off mobile data :p
November 2, 2011 at 1:42 am
I have been getting this message for over a week, I can connect via 2g network but no 3g/4g connection, no data, calls, NOTHING. Took the battery out just now, gonna wait for 20 and put it back in. If this helps, I totally love you in a completely non gay way.
November 2, 2011 at 2:07 am
No dice, I’m going to try flashing the stock rom again. GSM Evo 3d.
November 2, 2011 at 2:31 am
Your symptoms are different! You can actually get 2G data, which with the symptoms of the problem this post relates to you cannot do. No idea what’s causing your issue, though!
November 8, 2011 at 4:08 pm
Hey I hav the same problem too my phone is the Motorola charm and it just happened this morning I was sleeping with my phone and idk I think I pressed sumthing but ya all I’m getting now is emergency calls only and I can’t text talk or anything!! So I tried to reconnect but ya it’s not working I took the battery out for like an hour but no luck?
November 8, 2011 at 11:57 pm
Have you tried cleaning your SIM card and its slot?
O2 seem to believe that this problem = dead SIM card. In my case (at least) this wasn’t true, but I can certainly see it’s possible!
November 11, 2011 at 6:12 am
I have the same problem on my HTC Desire HD for Indosat IM3 in Indonesia, I will try to take of the battery about 20 minute and back to report the result
November 11, 2011 at 6:15 pm
It doesn’t work… Still Error on My HTC Desire HD. “Network or SIM Card Error”
November 12, 2011 at 2:23 am

November 12, 2011 at 6:45 am
Good luck!
December 1, 2011 at 5:45 am
Thanx ……your suggestion really working .But what the exactly problem that don’t get it .If know then let me inform .It is Android problem ? I am using sony w8.
December 1, 2011 at 11:04 am
It’s an issue with the Radio Firmware in lots of Android phones! Remember, the GSM radio has its own small memory chip (like a little block of RAM of its own). If this gets a corruption or something similar, the radio stops working and your SIM won’t be recognized. By removing power from the phone for long enough, you essentially clear this block of memory, and it is rewritten when you apply power and turn the phone back on.
To the best of my knowledge, this is the cause.
December 1, 2011 at 5:52 am
Thanks so much for posting this. You saved me time and frustration!
December 1, 2011 at 11:02 am
You’re very welcome!
December 3, 2011 at 7:10 pm
Okay so I have the weirdest problem, I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, which was locked to Rogers originally but I unlocked the bootloader and it is fully unlocked now… But now Im trying to use a Bell simcard and it says, your sim does not allow you to connect to this network, so idk, any ideas??
December 3, 2011 at 8:15 pm
Unlocking the bootloader is NOT the same as removing the SIM LOCK on the handset!
December 11, 2011 at 9:25 am
I bought a new Sony Ericsson xperia pro and it would not allow me to connect to the network. Pulled out the battery as you said and it worked.
Thank you very much.
December 11, 2011 at 3:50 pm
Glad it helped… enjoy your phone
December 19, 2011 at 12:54 pm
hey mat my phone same problem (Network or SIM Card Error”) i work is it butt my phone same problem plzz helppppp… thanx
December 21, 2011 at 4:46 am
That’s a different problem. It would actually suggest that your SIM is damaged somehow!
December 20, 2011 at 3:56 am

Good day
Your solution works!!!!!
Thank You!
Thank You!
Thank You!
Had to restart my phone 4 times daily, before I read your article.
Regards
December 30, 2011 at 10:04 pm
The simplest things, huh?
Glad it worked for you as it has for me!
January 2, 2012 at 7:37 am
I am having xperia x8 ant this solution does not work for me
((
January 2, 2012 at 2:40 pm
If this solution dosn’t work for you, I suggest trying a different SIM card (on the same network) and seeing if that works.
If another SIM works but yours does not, then your SIM is damaged and needs to be replaced (your telecom provider can do this for you, and don’t let them charge you for it either… they’re required to by law)
January 4, 2012 at 12:44 pm
Unfortunately, I think this error message can arise for a number of different reasons, some more serious than others. My old Motorola Defy currently has this problem and cannot accept or send calls or SMS though, bizarrely, every SIM I’ve tried is still able to use data and browse the internet! So 3G data works, GPS works and FM radio works which indicates that it is unlikely to be a hardware problem.
The Defy was unused (and switched off) on the shelf for a couple of months and now this error arises, even when using the same SIM which worked in the phone without problem for almost 6 months.
Here is a link to quite an old thread in which people discuss this error message and provide some of their solutions (none of which work for me!):
http://thewichitacomputerguy.com/blog/how-i-fixed-your-sim-card-does-not-allow-connection-network-g1
Hopefully, this may be of use to others.
I’ve tried various wipes/resets/ROMs/etc etc to no avail. I can think of just a couple more things to try but, after that I’ve just got an expensive paperweight on my hands. I purchased the phone second-hand so don’t have any warranty.
Personally, I reckon it may be some kind of low level Android bug as it seems to pop up on various different brands of phone. It wouldn’t surprise me to find that quite a number of Android warranty returns were because of this problem…
January 4, 2012 at 2:39 pm
You’ve tried different ROMs, but have you tried flashing a different Radio firmware onto it? You’ll need to find a compatible radio firmware, but this has solved similar issues on many other people’s phones.
January 4, 2012 at 5:49 pm
Yep – I’ve tried all sorts of different Radios including some which I wouldn’t even expect to work correctly – anything to try and ‘jog’ the phone out of the problem.
Bear in mind that I used the phone for six months without any problems using the self-same basebands which don’t work now. Now, trying to use the same SIM which was used then (as well as 3 or 4 other SIMs which I’ve tried) brings up the SIM card connection error, even though all can access data via 3G!
Next step is to try flashing yet another SBF using a different method. I still think the phone hardware is OK so I’m just hoping one of these procedures can work!
January 4, 2012 at 6:15 pm
And to confirm, you’ve tried removing the battery and leaving the battery removed for the better part of a day?
You aren’t doing something silly like leaving it in Airplane mode are you? You’re probably not, but I have to ask!
Also, keep in mind that the GSM (Phone/SMS) radio is actually separate from the 2G/3G/4G radio… they are two discrete pieces, where one can break and the other continue to function.
January 4, 2012 at 11:11 pm
Battery removed and left out for plenty of time (including overnight), battery replaced plenty of times, battery almost thrown through the window in frustration a few times!
No need to worry about me doing anything daft like leaving the phone in Airplane mode – I’m reasonably tech savvy and have gone as far as messing around in the service menu trying to switch the radio on and off but without success.
I’ve just upgraded to a leaked Gingerbread 2.3.6 ROM (using a ‘fixed’ SBF which uses a different installation method to the other ROMs I’ve tried), but this doesn’t seem to have made any difference for now.
I’m fast running out of options! I still don’t think the 2G hardware has failed – it seems unlikely a hardware problem would have arisen when the phone was safely stored away.
January 5, 2012 at 9:54 pm
That depends… when you stored the phone, did you remove the battery or leave it in? Leaving a Lithium-ion battery inside a device when its not in use damages the battery (for certain) and CAN damage hardware.
January 6, 2012 at 3:46 pm
I did leave the battery in though it was pretty much totally discharged when I last used the phone so I doubt that would have been the culprit. I think that ultimately, it is either a low-level software problem which has fritzed the GSM connectivity or a hardware problem. As you say, GSM is separate to the 3G so perhaps it is just one chip governing the GSM in the phone which has failed.
Anyway, I’ve now officially given up. Orange have got a good deal going for these phones on PAYG at present so I’ve just been into town and bought a brand new Defy for £110 (including a compulsory £10 top-up). I’ve just bought an unlock code from an eBay seller so just need to wait a couple of days for that to come through and then my girlfriend will finally be able to get her final Christmas present!
Incidentally, I actually tried both the new PAYG SIM and the battery which came with the new Defy in the old one and encountered the same lack of GSM connectivity. At least this new Defy is now under warranty for a year at least!
As for the paperweight Defy, I suppose I could just use it as an iPod equivalent. More specifically, I’ve been planning to set up an XBMC installation on a nettop PC which I own so I will be able to use the duff phone as a controller for that since WIFI works without any problems. Should suffice until next Christmas when I’d imagine cheapo 7″ tablets with a decent spec will be available!
Thanks for the helpful comments and trying to assist me with this problem.
January 6, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Best of luck! I do recommend you check out my Battery guide, though! You should never store any battery in a discharged state (ideally, stored batteries should always have 50% charge), as leaving them discharged actually degrades the cells (meaning the battery no longer lasts as long as it should between charges).
January 19, 2012 at 1:49 pm
Further info for anybody who is interested.
It would appear that this message is shown when your phone has been blacklisted, as mine apparently has.
Now, although I bought this phone on eBay last April, I think it is incredibly unlikely that it was a stolen device. This is not least because I used it for the best part of 6 months without a single problem.
The following thread leads me to believe that the phone has been incorrectly blacklisted by those wonderfully incompetent folks at Orange following the merger of their network with that of t-mobile:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3677593
I’ve tried contacting Orange (with who I have a SIM), but they aren’t able to lift the blacklisting (or accept the blame, I’m sure!).
I’ve now contacted the eBay seller to see if he can help me out with this. Hopefully, he will still have a t-mobile contract and be able to get the blacklisting lifted.
The only problem was that he wasn’t great at communicating and seems an intermittent eBay buyer/seller so I’m not sure when he will see the message! The fact that he refunded the postage fees when I bought the phone because of a delay in delivery leads me to believe he is on the level, however!
Fingers-crossed I can sort this out because, although I’ve bought a replacement, I hate to think that a problem caused by incompetence at Orange/t-mobile has cost me the extra money!
January 19, 2012 at 1:59 pm
Interesting to know… though it should be said this isn’t ALWAYS the reason (my phone is on contract from O2, so I know it hasn’t been blacklisted).
I wish you luck resolving your issue!
January 15, 2012 at 6:29 pm
Hi Simon, I need your advise on some issues m facing. I bought a new android ivio 2.2 smartphone last week. I am experiencing some issues with it.
No 1, It is consuming too much battery, though my usage is very less even then i have to charge the battery at least twice a day.
No 2, Since yesterday it gets hang when stand still for some time and i have to restart it again.
NO 3, The most important one, since some hours it is showing the status icon that the sim card is not inserted or connected, but i am still able to make a call. It is showing 3g 1x icon but there is a red mark on it and i am unable to connect with 3g internet or internet.
I tried putting other sims in the phone but every time the phone shows check icon on sim.
January 15, 2012 at 6:40 pm
Number 1: Buy (it’s cheap) Tasker. Following its documentation, set up some power saving profiles to minimize excess power usage. The best of these is setting your own brightness levels… since the backlight is the highest power consumer in your device! Disable Automatic Sync, as this will drain power at times you can’t control, and will cost you on 3G data usage!
Number 2: This is a hard one to diagnose, and can be caused by anything from a dodgy App, to a hardware fault. You may do well to try removing Apps which start up with your phone to see if this fixes it. If removing a particular app stops the hanging, you know not to use that App in the future. Otherwise, it comes down to a process of fault-finding with the hardware (disabling features of the phone to see which feature was causing it to hang).
Number 3: This is very common! First thing to try is removing the battery from the phone, then spraying (carefully) the SIM slot with compressed air. Sometimes a speck of dirt (or plastic if the manufacturing process is crap) can obstruct the contact between the SIM and the slot.
IF none of the above solves your problems, you should get the handset exchanged as the fault is beyond any reasonable expectation of a user being able to solve it!
January 15, 2012 at 7:13 pm
Thanks for your kind and quick support, I would try that myself and lets see how it goes, I will keep you posted though. Thanks again. Take care.
January 15, 2012 at 7:24 pm
Best of luck!
January 16, 2012 at 10:46 am
you’re than man! fixed!
January 18, 2012 at 1:00 am
I have the HTC Sensation and I tried your method but it did not work. Any other solution. It says on the screen, that No signal and then Limited Service. Any where I take it to. That is the same message I see. Your sim card does not allow a connection to this network. Please help? Thanks
January 18, 2012 at 1:11 am
As with others, first I would suggest removing your SIM, cleaning it and the SIM slot on the phone, and seeing if this helps.
If not, please try other SIM cards in your phone (on the same network, as well as others)… this will determine if the issue is with the handset or with the SIM itself.
January 18, 2012 at 10:58 pm
hi ive got a sony ericsson xperia arc and since i update and had setting from o2 sent to my phone i keep losing the network signal and had that message your sim card does not allow a connection to this network now ive taken the sim card out and pu it in another phone and it had ful signal and the other sim same network i inserted into the arc and that still losing signal yet it was fantastic before so at the moment im waiting for half hour with the battery out to hopefully see if this solves the prob …. when i do get a low signal i can see it says a h but no 3 g the fone also said it wasnt roaming yet when i checked in the settings i got roaming data is ticked .. but fingers crossed taking battery out fixes probs
January 19, 2012 at 1:01 pm
It might take a lot longer than half an hour for the battery-out method to work (don’t know why).
In my case, I just left the battery out over night, and put it back in the next day….. haven’t had the SIM problem since!
January 19, 2012 at 9:28 pm
well battery was out for an hour and hey presto phones signal alot better its not losing signal as much i will redo it thought and leave over night see if it stops full stop thanks for the advice
January 19, 2012 at 11:25 pm
no worries!
January 23, 2012 at 6:46 am
I have a Samsung Galaxy P1000. I have the same problem. Though, my unit is an open line, it only works with one network SIM but using other SIM from other networks, I get the error message.
January 23, 2012 at 9:22 am
Yes, your phone is SIM locked to a specific carrier…. you would need either to get an unlock code (which will cost you) from the carrier, or take your phone somewhere to have it unlocked (which will also cost you, but generally less than paying the network for an unlock code)
January 23, 2012 at 12:11 pm
“Take the battery out of your phone for 10-15 minutes” This does not work on my HTC Desire Z.
When I’m inside the functions *#*#4636#*#*, I can turn on and off the radio, but I can not switch to “GSM only” or any of the other choices. Can not change to “GSM only” in the phone’s configuration menu either.
So I’m still in the “Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network” mode.
Help!?!
January 23, 2012 at 12:14 pm
As I have said to others…. sometimes 15 minutes isn’t long enough!
When I encounter handsets with this issue, and resort to the “pull the battery” solution, I leave the battery out over night (or longer dependant on what I’m doing).
Still, sometimes (not always, but sometimes) this issue is caused by the SIM card slot (either dirt obstructing contact between the SIM and the slot, or some other form of obstruction).
Use a can of compressed air to thouroughly clean the phone, see if this helps.
Beyond that…. RMA!
January 23, 2012 at 1:17 pm
This unfortunately did not work for me. Ive been in Switzerland for the last week and having no signal/phone has been a nightmare. Orange have shafted me for the last time. No more. I have tried everything and it happened as soon as I used the ^flight mode` on the plane that the problem began.
When I arrive back in Scotland the Samdung Apollo will be getting repaired with a large hammer and Orange will be getting the bullet.
January 23, 2012 at 1:30 pm
Since you’ve clearly nothing left to lose, have you tried a factory reset?
January 24, 2012 at 11:34 am
If this works mate you have saved my HTC Desire HD from bouncing off the wall!
Do you have any tips on saving battery life as my phone does not even make 8hrs.
Cheers
January 24, 2012 at 4:07 pm
Good luck!
Battery saving is an article for another day (a bloody good article at that)
February 1, 2012 at 8:21 am
i have a htc desire hd that has been sent back to the workshop after doing a systems upgrade the phone hasnt been able to pick up the sim card. i got it back from the work shop it worked for an hour and now its doing it again. i cant use the phone. please help
February 5, 2012 at 12:52 am
Can only hear when speaker phone on,when retreaving voice mail and when calling
March 3, 2012 at 10:33 pm
Worked like a charm!
I have different sim cards for the different countries that I travel to and could not understand why they would not work in my newly acquired Desire S as they had worked fine in my Nokia.
5 minutes with the battery out and the phone picked up the different networks.
YAY!
March 13, 2012 at 9:53 pm
This happend to me when my phone had died (bc of battery). To fix it i unplugged the charger and restarted the phone. U have to type in ur code thats what was missing for me and then it works like a charm. so after charge out just start the phone and the restart it one more time with the charging cable unplugged then put ur pin in.
March 24, 2012 at 11:03 pm
I have Sony Xperia x8, I upgraded ROM and after that i got same error, i reverted back to original still no luck. pulled out battery for more than a day , tried above procedure , changed sim card still no luck. Any suggestions…
March 24, 2012 at 11:37 pm
You upgraded the ROM…. did this flash a different Radio firmware at the same time (some do)? If so, reverting to the original ROM won’t put the original Radio firmware back on. It’s something people seem to be ignorant of when trying different firmwares, but it can be a major pain in the arse to find a working Radio firmware when it happens.
March 26, 2012 at 9:31 pm
Yeah, i didnt bothered to check firmware and flashed various kernals to make custom ROM work, then i reverted back to original using PC companion which restored back its ROM may be firmware also. still not working
. Its really pain
March 27, 2012 at 1:59 pm
Restoring a backup of the phone’s internal memory (A.K.A the “ROM”) will not restore any original Radio Firmware, as this is stored on an entirely different chip, and flashed an entirely different way.
April 5, 2012 at 11:39 am
Dude, you are the best, I’ve been trying to solve this issue for a while now.
April 7, 2012 at 4:44 pm
You’re welcome!
April 17, 2012 at 12:30 am
Simon.
Do you think this could be the same if I always get a message saying that the phone is switched off when it isn’t and it wont answer?
I have tried the sim in other phones and it is fine. I have 3 PAYG as well as Vodafone. I use Vodafone for when I am in the middle of nowhere and still need reasonably good reception, and 3 for everywhere else, mostly for the data and value bundles. It is surprisingly the Voda I am having the issues with.
I am thinking that using these two at the same time in same vicinity could be causing the issues?
I have tried turning off for 20 mins then back on but it still says the voda sim is switched off even if I keep my 3 phone further away so it cant interfere.
Do you think toggling airplane mode may help get it working or could it be something in the settings that I have missed?
At the moment when I try calling it doesn’t even ring but when I put different non-voda sim in same phone they work fine. It is really baffling me.
Cheers,
John
April 17, 2012 at 2:39 am
IS the chip layout on the Voda sim the same as that on the other sims you’ve tried?
I’ve encountered “incompatible SIM cards” before… but not in quite a long time!
April 17, 2012 at 10:36 am
HI Simon
I tired this solution but it doesn’t work with me,i have HTC desire HD
any comments?
April 17, 2012 at 12:02 pm
More details please:
1) How long did you leave the battery disconnected?
2) Done anything recently which may have led to you encountering this issue? Been abroad? Android Update? Custom ROM?
3) Are you using a different SIM card to previously?
4) Does your SIM work normally in other handsets?
April 17, 2012 at 4:39 pm
j’ai un htc hero200 qui n’a pas de la place pour la carte sim. comment sa marche ce phone? AIDEZ-MOI SVP
April 17, 2012 at 4:43 pm
En anglais s’il vous plait!
April 19, 2012 at 5:12 pm
I just bought an AT&T fully unlocked htc inspire 4G. Im in Germany on the O2 network. As soon as I put the SIM in I turned on mobile network connection. It turns on put nothing comes up on the menu bar. Only the signal and a check mark with a G over it. I just took the the battery and SIM out hope to see if it works
April 19, 2012 at 7:14 pm
This won’t work! The frequency of 3G/LTE networks differs internationally, with the US insisting on being the most awkward yet again.
Bottom line: You won’t be able to get 3G on a US handset in Germany on a German network with a German SIM!
April 20, 2012 at 5:24 am
Is there no way to change the settings on the phone in order to get the internet to work or what not?

Not that I know of. Check on the XDA Developers website to see if a firmware change might work, but I really doubt it!

I have a unlocked blackberry i only use when travelling with a foreign country sim card Back in the USA now and its supposed to roam here so i can still txt overseas and will be cheap for locals to txt ne back. Problem is I think i messed up the connection by trying diff setting and now i cant get the orig setting that worked. Tried getting batt out and reinserting sim card. What settings should it be on for a roaming sim card?
Thanks

I have absolutely no idea! I think a good place to start would be to Google for the correct “APN” settings… but what those may be in your case, I’ve no idea!

Hey guys, I have the same problem in UK with my foreign O2 SIM card. I sat in the plane with perfectly working Android 2.2.1, set plane mode and when I got off in London, the problem was there. Exactly the same. It cannot connect to any operator, state (not in service), no signal, nothing. And – it was working in Czech republic before (so it is not probably transfer between countries that is the problem here…
But I tried to put my UK SIM card in, and I cannot call or text anyone, anything. Although I have signal, service state (in service) but not roaming (and putting on the roaming ion settings does not help…). Could you give me some advise? The battery out for 15 min. did not help
Thanks guys!

Hi,
I have HTC Rhyme and the problem with this is it does not recognize some sim cards. I tried a couple of different sim cards by Rogers in Canada. Only one of them worked. Also, I tried a sim card by telus, it didn’t work. I am not getting any message except no service. I read your reply to fixing the problem you had with your htc by taking out the battery for 15-20 min but this phone’s battery is non-removable. The phone went from UK to Pakistan, where it was (supposedly) unlocked. This phone is in Canada now.
Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
